Does tanning indoors have the same effect as tanning outdoors?

* Yes. The advantage to indoor tanning is "control." You always know what you're getting
from an individual tanning session. It is very precise, calculated, controlled exposure
designed to give you a cosmetically pleasing tan without burning your skin. When a
customer goes outdoors, he/she places himself in an uncontrolled environment. They
don't know how much they are getting and frequently tanning outdoors results in sunburn.

*
How do I prevent "raccoon eyes?"
Adjusting the protective eyewear occasionally during a tanning session will help to
minimize this condition. The adjustment can be performed by gently sliding the eyewear
to a new position. You should never lift the eyewear off of your eyes to adjust their position

*
Can I wear my contact lenses while tanning?
Because tanning naturally draws moisture from the body, eyes are sometimes
inconvenienced with contacts that lose moisture too. Even with protective eyewear, eyes
can dry out a little. If somebody is going to tan with their contacts in, it is recommended
that they use moisturizing drops prior to or just after the tanning session to prevent any
temporary discomfort.

*
Should I wait to shower after tanning? It is advised to wait at least four hours after
tanning before you shower when using a bronzer to maximize results.

* Face lotions are a great way to protect your sensitive facial skin that provides anti-aging
and does not clog you pores.

* Apply bronzers in a circular motion to avoid streaking.

* Use a stand up booth once a week to even out your color.

* Tattoo’s fade in UV light. It is best to use an SPF or SPF lip balm each time you tan in
order to keep your tattoo bright!

* Exfoliating is essential to maintaining a perfect tan because it keeps your skin silky
smooth while providing tanners with a healthy glow! A great product is Hempz Herbal
Body Scrub because it polishes skin and conditions it at the same time, ask your UE
expert for more details

*
Why Use An Indoor Tanning Lotion?
* Indoor Tanning lotion draws the UV light into your skin for a deeper, darker, longer
lasting tan. Indoor Tanning lotion increases your Melanin Production, which in turn tans
you FASTER! When you tan you lose essential skin nurturing vitamins & minerals, most
of our indoor tanning lotions replace what was lost. Hydrated skin not only holds color
longer, but looks healthier. We offer many varieties to fit YOUR everyday needs.

* Switch back and forth between a bronzer and a white lotion to get a more natural
looking tan.

* Use a tan extending lotion immediately after tanning to lock in bronzers, and again after
showering to extend the life of your tan.

* Each bed produces different results, try different beds to maximize tanning results.

An anti-aging treatment has recently gained popularity but has shown amazing results for years. This treatment
developed by NASA and FDA approved is called RED light therapy.  RED light therapy is characterized by
infrared light which is a unique type of light that has a stronger wavelength than other types of light.  This
enables it to penetrate deeper into the skin and provide many therapeutic benefits including improvement in the
skin's appearance and structure as well as relief from pain.  There is NO UV light associated with RED light
therapy. Because of its amazing benefits traditional tanning salons have begun using RED
light therapy beds as a sort of "reverse tanning bed."

RED light therapy is able to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles sun damage and skin problems
including acne and rosacea because infrared light promotes collagen growth in skin tissue.  RED light therapy
has also been shown to provide relief from arthritis and chronic pain.  Infrared light stimulates blood circulation
and releases endorphins to provide energy source used in body tissues that promotes rapid healing.

Similar to the Sun the infrared light provides a warming effect on the skin but without the presence of damaging
UV Rays.Recommended therapy schedules are 3-4 days per week for 4-6 weeks.  After the initial treatment
schedule it is recommended to continue 1-2 days per week.  With no damaging effects only positive results its
no surprise that RED light therapy is a great new way to improve your appearance and health. RED light therapy
has become a breakthrough treatment because unlike cosmetic surgery red light therapy is non-invasive cost
effective and risk free alternative to improving skin's appearance.
